Our works
Our approach to creating lasting change in some of Tanzania’s poorest regions is not through sending aid, but by collaborating with volunteers and partners to empower communities.
.
Sport project
The Sport project aims to provide a safe and supportive environment for young people to engage in various sports and physical activities. The organization believes in the power of sports to promote physical health, teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills among the youth.
Some of the activities that volunteers might be involved in include organizing training sessions, coordinating friendly matches and tournaments, teaching basic sports skills, and promoting fair play and sportsmanship.
.
Street children
The street children project in Iringa, Tanzania is an initiative undertaken by the Mama Dan Organization to provide shelter and support to homeless and vulnerable children in the region. The project aims to address the pressing issue of street children in Iringa, by offering them a safe and nurturing environment where their basic needs are met, and they have access to education and healthcare.
Volunteering with the Mama Dan Organization in the street children project allows individuals to contribute their time and skills towards making a positive impact on the lives of these vulnerable children. As a volunteer, you would be involved in various activities that support the children’s well-being and development.
.
Arts and Dance
The Arts and Dance project aims to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and youth to explore their artistic talents and develop their skills. Through various art forms such as painting, drawing, and sculpture, children are encouraged to express their thoughts, emotions, and ideas in a visually creative manner.
In addition to visual arts, the program also places a strong emphasis on dance. Dance is a universal language that transcends barriers and celebrates cultural diversity. Children are taught various traditional Tanzanian dances, as well as contemporary dance styles, allowing them to connect with their cultural heritage while also incorporating modern influences.
